Opening of the Boating Season - Vanderbijlpark

Riverside Sun, Emerald, Liquid Lounge, Stonehaven and some boat manufacturers and suppliers have got together to revive something that was done many years ago … the opening of the Spring/Summer Boating Season. The way it is celebrated is where all boats get together and cruise down the river slowly together … celebrating opening of the boating season.
Hope you might have space to include this boating initiative - to promote boating on the Vaal.

So all people with boats are warmly welcomed to join … meeting in front of the Baddrift Bridge at 11.30am and together we slowly cruise down to Millionaire’s Bend together. There is no charge for boats to join this fun outing - it is just a boating get-together to have the opening of the spring/summer boating season and celebrating that we have a beautiful river! So calling all boat owners!!

There will be live bands on the top deck of the Liquid Lounge and the Spirit of Jen - so lots of fun gees! And sure some of the other boats who have big sound systems will give good competition I am sure!

For those Vaalies that do not have boats, they are welcome to board any one of 4 commercial boats for the 3.5 hour cruise with a Smorgasbord Buffet served on board too
